Get a Sharing Link

In the previous example, Send as Attachment, each recipient received a copy of the attached spreadsheet. You can also Get a Sharing Link. This is useful if you need to edit information with a lot of people.

There are two Link options: View (Read only) and Edit (Read/Write/Change).

3. Try it: Get a Sharing Link

Go to File ->Share ->Get a Sharing Link.
Go to Edit Link.

Click on Create Link.

 

The spreadsheet will be published online in a public SkyDrive folder.

Memo to Self: You can email this Sharing Link.
Go to
Share->Email->Send a Sharing Link.

A new message should open in Outlook with the Sharing Link. All recipients will be able to edit the same spreadsheet online when they click on this link.
